Help Me Prayer
Invite children to ask God for help with one specific response. Example: 'Jesus, help me follow You when I want my own way.'
Pray for Someone
Connect the story to a person the child knows. Example: 'Please help our neighbor feel seen and loved today.'
Popcorn Prayer
Family members pray short phrases in any order. Keep silence comfortable and do not force everyone to speak.
Echo Prayer
The parent prays a short line and children repeat it. This works well with preschoolers and large groups.
Listening Prayer
Pause quietly and ask, 'God, what do You want us to remember from this story?' Share simple, Scripture-shaped responses.
Picture Prayer
Children draw a scene and pray about what they drew. This helps visual processors stay engaged.
Blessing Prayer
Speak a short blessing over a child. Example: 'May you know Jesus sees you and calls you by name.'
One Sentence Prayer
